

WHAT: Kakadu National Park. The park covers 20,000 square kilomtres and is one of the BEST KNOWN & SECOND LARGEST national parks in the WORLD. The park is also WORLD Heritage Listed, for it's natural and CULTURAL significance. The name KAKADU comes from the mispronunciation the word GAGUDJU which was the language spoken the northern parts of the area. Then there is LITCHFIELD National Park 130 KM South West of Darwin - abound in relatively CROCODILE FREE waterfalls & swimming holes to ENJOY!
WHERE: In the NORTHERN TERRITORY, about 3 hours from DARWIN.
WHY: There is WILDLIFE ABOUND! Crocodiles, wallabies, dingos, goannas and many of the myriad of bird species that inhabit the national park. Not to forget the MAGNIFICENT Twin & Jim Jim Falls.
